Congdon Park is one of the main park areas in Duluth MN. It runs about 1.2 miles out and back. There is a paved path and a smaller dirt trail that runs closer to the Tischer Creek. There are some great views along Tischer Creek with some small waterfalls. Congdon Park is part of the Duluth Hill so there will be a slope to most of the trail system.
Glensheen Mansion is one of the most visited historic homes in the state. Glensheen Mansion sits on 12 acres and runs along Lake Superior in the Congdon Park of Duluth MN. They have a great area that offers tours, events, and venue rentals. I have been to Glensheen Mansion to enjoy all activities they offer. Some great small concerts have been there along Lake Superior outside of the mansion.
